The maximum quantity includes a quantity for Foreign Military Sales. Authority cited is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). Only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no other supplies or services will satisfy this agency’s requirement. The Large Dynamometer, Run-In (V250) and Small Dynamometer, Run-In (V35) are not Critical Safety Items (CSI). The Large Dynamometer, Run-In (V250) and Small Dynamometer, Run-In (V35) must be overhauled by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or other approved source. The OEM is Concepts NREC, LLC (CAGE 0C770). There is no adequate Depot Maintenance Work Requirement (DMWR) available for is effort. Contractors are encouraged to seek Source Approval Request (SAR) in order to become an approved source by submitting documentation in accordance with the Competition Advocate's Shopping List procedures at: http://www.avmc.army.mil/Directorates/SRD/SAR. The solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated on the solicitation. Award of this requirement will not be withheld pending SARs.
