This announcement is in support of market research to determine the feasibility of a Full and Open acquisition and to identify potential sources that can provide the Maintenance and Overhaul of the following item: NOMENCLATURE: TRANSMISSION, MECHAN Input/Output NSN: 1615-01-315-4071 Input/Output P/N: 145D2300-7 ESTIMATED QUANTITY RANGE: Minimum 10 – Maximum 108 each Maximum OF 108 each includes quantity of 90 US and a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Quantity of 18 each The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336413 and the size standard is 1,250 employees. The TRANSMISSION, MECHAN is a Critical Safety Item (CSI). Although DMWR-55-1615-324, Revision Date: 12/20/2011, is adequate for overhaul of the TRANSMISSION, MECHAN, it is restricted to approved sources only. This is a Critical Safety Item (CSI) and must be overhauled by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or other approved sources. The OEM Is Boeing Helicopter Inc. Ridley Park, PA. (CAGE 77272). The approved M&O sources listed in the ARISE database are Columbia Helicopters (CAGE 7W206) and Heligear Acquisition Co. dba Northstar Aerospace (CAGE 22907). Interested parties who have capability to perform the above effort should respond to this notice and identify your business size and socio economic status as applicable. Contractors are encouraged to seek Source Approval Request (SAR) in order to become an approved source by submitting documentation in accordance with the Competition Advocate's Shopping List procedures.
