This is a sources sought. This announcement is in support of market research to determine the feasibility of a Full and Open acquisition and to identify potential sources that can provide the Maintenance and Overhaul of the following item: NOMENCLATURE: Pin, Hollow Input/Output NSN: 5315-01-295-7008 Input/Output P/N: 114R2197-7 ESTIMATED QUANTITY RANGE: Minimum 5 – Maximum 1,200 each Maximum of 1,200 each includes quantity of 1,005 each US and a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Quantity of 200 each. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332618 and the size standard is 500 employees. The Pin, Hollow is a Critical Safety Item (CSI). Although DMWR-55-1615-296 is adequate for overhaul of the Pin, Hollow, it is restricted to approved sources only. This is a Critical Safety Item (CSI) and must be overhauled by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or other approved sources. The OEM Is Boeing Helicopter Inc. Ridley Park, PA. (CAGE 77272). The approved M&O sources listed in the ARISE database are Compass Aerospace Northwest, Inc. (CAGE 3DM10), Piedmont Aviation Component Services, LLC (CAGE 3ELY2), and PCX Aerostructures, LLC (CAGE 82001). Interested parties who have capability to perform the above effort should respond to this notice and identify your business size and socio economic status as applicable. Contractors are encouraged to seek Source Approval Request (SAR) in order to become an approved source by following the procedures outlined at the following website: https://www.avmc.army.mil/Directorates/SRD/SAR/ This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. This announcement does not constitute a RFP. A synopsis will be issued at a later date for this requirement. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up information requested.
