Thsi announcement is in support of market research to determine the feasibitlity of a competitive acquisition and to identify potential sources that can provide the overhaul and maintenance for the following item: NOMENCLATURE: COMPUTER, DIGITAL DA - -------------------------- OUTPUT NSN: 5895-01-677-5223 OUTPUT P/N: 3000649000 INPUT NSN : 5895-01-677-5223 INPUT P/N: 3000649000 ESTIMATED QUANTITY RANGE: Minimum 6 each Maximum 124 each (Maximum of 124 each includes quantity of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Quantity of 21 each) The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334290 and the size standard is 750 employees. The Computer, Digital DA is Not a Critical Safety Item (CSI). A Depot Maintenance Requirement (DMWR) is not required for this item. Currently the only known approved source for the repair of the Computer, Digital DA is L-3 COMMUNICATIONS CORPORATION (CAGE CODE 06401). Contractors are encouraged to seek Source Approval Request (SAR) in order to become an approved source by submitting documentation in accordance with the Maintenance and Overhaul (M&O) SAR Guidance.
