Authority cited is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(B). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy this agency’s requirement. The Sources that this item is restricted to is Breeze-Eastern LLC (CAGE Code: 08484), The Boeing Company (CAGE Code: 77272) and Triman Industries, Inc (CAGE Code: 0ZBE8). The Depot Maintenance Work Requirement (DMWR) is not available for this requirement. This is not a Critical Safety Item (CSI). The contractor shall furnish all level labor, facilities, tools, test equipment, materials for this item. The Cargo Hook is NOT Critical Safety Items (CSI). This part require engineering source approval by the design control activity and manufacture of them requires use of master or coordinated tooling. Currently the only known approved source for these items is Breeze-Eastern LLC (CAGE Code: 08484) and The Boeing Company (CAGE Code: 77272). Contractors are encouraged to seek Source Approval Request (SAR) in order to become an approved source by submitting documentation in accordance with the Competition Advocate's Shopping List procedures.
