The contractor shall furnish all labor, facilities, parts, materials, equipment, tools and data (other than Government Furnished Property), necessary to accomplish the overhaul of the following assets: Nomenclature: Cold Section Module Input National Stock Number (NSN): 2840-01-284-4013 Output NSN: 2840-01-284-4013 Input Part Number (P/N): 6071T25G01 Output P/N: 6071T25G01 Estimated Quantity Range: 140 Minimum-1,032 maximum (Includes 172 FMS) The proposed contractual action will be a Five (5) year, Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Maintenance and Overhaul type contract, with minimum / maximum quantities listed above. These items are commercial; FAR Part 12 will be utilized. Required delivery shall be FOB Origin. Depot Maintenance Work Requirement (DMWR) 1-2840-248-1/-2/-3/-4, Change #5, Revision Date 30 September 2014 and all applicable Maintenance Engineering Orders (MEOs) are available for this overhaul requirement. The overhaul shall be accomplished in accordance with Government specifications. This item has been identified as a Critical Safety Item (CSI). Pursuant to the provisions of Public Law No. 108-136, National Defense Authorization Act Fiscal Year 2004, Section 802, Quality Control in Procurement of Aviation Critical Safety Items and Related Services, as implemented for acquisition by Department of Defense, Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS 209-270), contracts for modification, repair, or overhaul of CSI’s can only be awarded to a source approved by the head of the design control activity. The only approved sources for this requirement are: General Electric Aviation (GE), (CAGE Code 99207), 1000 Western Avenue, Lynn, MA 01905-2655; Standard Aero Limited (CAGE Code 36213), 33 Allen Dyne Road, Winnipeg, MB R3H 1A1 Canada; Bet Shemesh Engines LTD (CAGE Code S0204) is a foreign owned business located in the Western Industrial Zone, Bet Shemesh, 99000, Israel. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Standard Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Agency. No telephone requests for the solicitation will be accepted.
