The Contractor shall furnish all services, facilities, labor, parts, materials, equipment, tools and data (other than Government Furnished Property), necessary to accomplish the inspection and overhaul of the following assets: NOMENCLATURE: Duct, Exhaust, Aircraft INPUT NSN: 2840-01-619-1022 Right/ 2840-01-619-1030 Left OUTPUT NSN: 2840-01-619-1022 Right/ 2840-01-619-1030 Left INPUT P/N: 70308-03025-042 Right/ 70308-03025-041 Left OUTPUT P/N: 70308-03025-042 Right/ 70308-03025-041 Left ESTIMATED QUANITY RANGE: Minimum 50 each - Maximum 300 each (Maximum includes a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Quantity of 50 each) The proposed contractual action will be a Five (5) year, Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Maintenance and Overhaul type contract, with minimum / maximum quantities listed above. This item are Non-commercial; FAR Part 12 will not be utilized. Required delivery shall be FOB Origin. The Duct, Exhaust, Aircraft is NOT a Critical Safety Item (CSI). There is no adequate Depot Maintenance Work Requirement (DMWR) available for the overhaul of the Duct, Exhaust, Aircraft. Therefore, this requirement cannot support a competitive solicitation. Currently the only known approved sources for the overhaul/repair data for the Duct, Exhaust, Aircraft are Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (CAGE Code 78286) and Overhaul Support Services LLC (CAGE Code 52VE4). A Product Verification Audit (PVA) is required. The overhaul shall be accomplished in accordance with contractor overhaul specifications and drawings. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Contractors are encouraged to seek Source Approval Request (SAR) in order to become an approved source by submitting documentation in accordance with the Competition Advocate's Shopping List procedures. These procedures are outlined at the following website: http://amcomdmz.redstone.army.mil/casl_cmo/casl_cmo_home and looking under Standard Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Agency. No telephone requests for the solicitation will be accepted. The closing date annotated is an estimate date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of the solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above.
