This announcement is in support of market research to determine the feasibility of a competitive acquisition and to identify potential sources that can provide the following item: NOMENCLATURE: SEAT, AIRCRAFT NSN: 1680-01-560-8741 P/N: 70500-52851-101 QUANTITY: Min. 32 / Max 160 each The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336413 and the size standard is 1,250 employees. The Seat, Aircraft, is NOT a Critical Safety Item (CSI). Currently the only known approved sources for this item are Martin-Baker America Inc. (CAGE 1Q842) and Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (CAGE 78286). Contractors are encouraged to seek Source Approval Request (SAR) in order to become an approved source by submitting documentation in accordance with the Competition Advocate’s Shopping List procedures.
