INTRODUCTION The US Army Contracting Command, Redstone, CCAM-NS-B, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35808 is issuing this sources sought on behalf of the Multi-National Aviation Special Project Office (MASPO) as a means of conducting market research to identify potential sources to procure and deliver Bell Helicopter spare parts. PARTS LIST The Bell Helicopter spare parts requirement consists of the 16 items listed in Attachment 0001. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. Based on the responses to this sources sought notice/market research, this requirement may be set-aside for small businesses (in full or in part) or procured through full and open competition. REQUIRED CAPABILITIES The Government requires the procurement and delivery of replenishment FAR 12 Commercial spare parts, shown in Attachment 0001, for Bell Helicopters with a material condition of “New”. In addition, transportation, support for inventorying spare parts at contractor facility prior to shipment, and support for the execution/coordination for shipment of Bell Helicopter spare parts Worldwide. A minimum of a working knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airworthiness processes are required to support this requirement. Qualification. The Bell Helicopter spare parts must be material condition “New” and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certified. Vendor must include in the response the following: Examples of previous procurement experience of FAR Part 12 components Description of the quality management system Proposed source of each component listed in Attachment 0001 Estimated delivery lead time for each component ELIGIBILITY The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336413 (Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing) and the size standard is 1,250 employees. Interested parties who have the capability to perform the above effort and have facilities involved in the ordering and/or receipt of commercial items under this requirement should respond to this notice and identify your business size and socio-economic status as applicable.
