This announcement is in support of market research to determine the feasibility of a limited competitive acquisition and to identify potential sources that can provide Maintenance and Overhaul of the following item: NOMENCLATURE: DRAG BRACE, LANDING INPUT NSN: INPUT P/N: 1620-01-523-0905 70250-22010-043 OUTPUT NSN: OUTPUT P/N: 1620-01-523-0905 70250-22010-043 ESTIMATED QUANTITY RANGE: Minimum 150 Each - Maximum 900 each (Maximum 900 EACH includes US QUANTITY 750 each and FOREIGN MILITARY SALES (FMS) QUANTITY of 150 EACH). The DRAG BRACE, LANDING, is a Critical Safety Item (CSI). Depot Maintenance Work Requirement (DMWR) 1-1620-244 Revision date 10/18/2018 is adequate to support the overhaul of the DRAG BRACE, LANDING. This Critical Safety Item (CSI) overhaul can only be performed by approved sources. Currently the only known approved sources are: Overhaul Support Services, LLC (CAGE 52VE4), Rotair Industries, Inc. (CAGE Code 54878), Airtronics, Inc., (CAGE Code 56078), and Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (CAGE Code 78286). Contractors are encouraged to seek Source Approval Request (SAR) in order to become an approved source by submitting documentation in accordance with the Competition cate's Shopping List procedures.
