The Army Contracting Command - Redstone has a requirement for the FY 2019 procurement of MQ-1C Gray Eagle production hardware: 1 each Gray Eagle Extended Range Aircraft, 1 each SATCOM Air Data Terminal (SADT), 9 lots of Gray Eagle Extended Range initial spares, and 9 lots of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) with options for an additional 6 each MQ-1C Gray Eagle Extended Range Aircraft and 6 each SADTs which may be exercised in 2020. This effort supports MQ-1C Gray Eagle UAS. The contract vehicle anticipated is a modification to FRP with an estimated delivery schedule of 30 months after date of award for the base hardware and 30 months after exercise of options. Authority Cited is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(B) entitled only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Justification and Approval applies to other than full and open competition basis. This requirement is sole source to General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc., 14200 Kirkham Way, Poway, CA 92064. This requirement is subject to the availability of funds. Firms that recognize and can produce the required items described above are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of the solicitation. However, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above.
