DESCRIPTION: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and awritten solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a request for quote (RFQ). This solicitation incorporates clauses and provisions in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-50. The resulting contract will be a Firm Fixed Price type Contract under FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items. ********IN ACCORDANCE WITH AFARS 5101.602-2(a)(ii)(B), the following statement applies,********"FUNDS ARE NOT PRESENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS ACQUISTION. NO CONTRACT AWARD WILL BE MADE UNTIL APPROPRIATED FUNDS ARE MADE AVAILABLE." SCOPE OF WORK: Base life support shall consist of toilets, hand wash/sinks, showers, sleeping accommodations, power generation, fuel, lighting, air conditioners, laundry wash/dry stations, and services related toproviding and maintaining these services during the contract period. The Contractor shall provide all personnel,equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform services asdefined in this Statement of Objectives (SOO). Unless otherwise specifically stated, the US Government will not provide government furnished equipment to support this requirement.
