The US government is seeking sources for local construction companies in Ethiopia, for a potential contract of construction to provide general improvements to 18 barracks facilities, renovating 12 shower/latrine facilities, renovating one (1) dining facility (DFAC) and renovating one (1) office building. Due to potential COVID-19 travel restrictions, the government is only seeking for local Ethiopian companies authorized to travel in Ethiopia without restrictions in order to meet the deadline of the beneficial occupancy date of 1 August 2021. Not meeting this deadline will adversely affect the government’s mission. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The government anticipates to award the contract no later than 01 May 2021. Interested companies must be registered in the System of Award management (SAM).
