The AHRU is a self-contained strap-down, inertial reference set that provide pitch, roll, and magnetic heading, angular rate and body acceleration information to the flight instruments on UH- 60A/L Black Hawk helicopter. The CU provides the command and control of the AHRU and the interface with the avionics suite. These items contain hardware and software proprietary to NGI. Detailed technical data for this item is not available from the Army except for performance specification.
