The United States Army Contracting Command – Detroit, Michigan anticipates releasing a solicitation for Light Engineer Utility Trailer Type II (LEUT II) to include production trailers, test trailers, related services, spare parts, test support, and logistics demonstration support. The solicitation is expected to result in a firm fixed price commercial contract. This proposed procurement action is a modified commercial, competitive, Small Business Set Aside (SBSA) for the Light Engineer Utility Trailer Type II (LEUT II). The primary mission for the LEUT II is to provide current and future Engineer U.S Joint Forces with a dedicated light haul capability that is required for the transport of key construction enablers, Steer Skid Loader (SSL) and Back Hoe Loader (BHL) that are used during construction and combat operations. A single firm-fixed price commercial contract is contemplated. The anticipated estimated quantity is: Estimated Qty: 92 EA The solicitation is estimated to be released on SAM in July 2022 and will contain the actual proposal due date. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. The offeror must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) and must be a self-certified U.S. small business concern as defined by (1) in FAR 19.001 and (2) by the criteria and size standards in FAR 19.102 for North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 336212 in SAM. The offeror will be required to meet ALL THE RESPONSIBILITY CRITERIA IN ACCORDANCE WITH FAR 9.104. The RFP number for this action is W56HZV-22-R-0113. SET ASIDE STATUS: This is a total (100%) small business set aside. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements.
