Under the Authority of FAR 13.5(a) Sole Source Acquisitions, “Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items”, the Government plans to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract action with Cummins Inc. (CAGE 15434) under solicitation W56HZV-22-R-0133. Interested vendors may submit a statement of interest and description of their capabilities for consideration. ACC-DTA proposes to award Firm Fixed Price commercial supply contract to Cummins, Inc., for the purchase of fuel pumps and gaskets. The proposed contract action is for services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.5(a). This notice of intent is not a request for proposals. Subcontracting opportunities may exist. Based upon market research, the Government is using the policies contained in FAR Part 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services.
