Please see the attached Sou... *** PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY *** *** SOURCES SOUGHT / MARKET SURVEY *** The Government requests contractor capability and input on the Large Area Maintenance Shelters (LAMS). Please see the attached Sources Sought Document and Military Performance Specification (MIL-PRF) for additional information. The Army Contracting Command-Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) currently procures the Large Area Maintenance Shelters (LAMS) for the US Army. The LAMS are compliant with Military Performance Specification (MIL-PRF) 32504B dated 08 August, 2016. The Army intends to resolicit referencing an updated MIL-PRF. As part of the effort to update MIL-PRF-32504B the Army is seeking input from industry in an effort to increase competition and facilitate the bidding. The intent is to procure a shelter with similar capabilities but to ensure the product description uses common industry terminology and open the potential to consider new technologies and manufacturing processes.
