The U.S. Army Contracting Command-Detroit Arsenal intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract under solicitation W56HZV-21-Q-0068, for Rough Terrain Container Handler (RTCH) Multi-Camera and Rear Radar System Kit. This action will be on a sole source basis with Independent Rough Terrain Center LLC (IRTC) of Cibolo, TX. The proposed contract action is for hardware and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), “Soliciting from a Single Source”. This is a notice of intent, not a request for competitive proposals, or a solicitation of offers. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. A determination not to compete this proposed contract action, upon response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
