The United States Army, Army Contracting Command-Warren (ACC-WRN) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) in support of the Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) Ground Vehicle Systems Center. The purpose of this request is to obtain information on the expected performance characteristics of Mobile Adhesive Applique Systems (MAAS) designed to reduce the detectability of a US Army ground vehicle. The desired deliverable for this RFI is a description of the construction, signature reduction features, application/removal methods and estimated per area/per vehicle costs. Please refer to the more comprehensive list of response information which can be found further in the document when preparing responses. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS. This Request for Information (RFI) is for planning and informational purposes only and shall not be considered as a request for proposal or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of contractor submission of responses to this RFI or the Government's use of such information. The Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any contractor's input resulting from this RFI. No contract will be awarded from this announcement and the data submitted in response to this RFI will not be returned.
