The contract will consist of Firm Fixed Price (FFP), FFP Level of Effort, and Time & Material Contract Line Item Numbers identified at the Delivery or Task Order level. This action will be competed amongst those contractors who successfully complete the Other Transaction Authority (OTA) task assignment under W15QKN-17-9-1025 and deliver an ISV that is deemed a successful prototype pursuant to 10 USC § 2371b. This posting is specifically for Subcontractor Opportunities. As stated above, other than the OTA completion vendors, no prime contractor opportunities are available. (13) Description: This action will satisfy the Army’s need for an Infantry Squad Vehicle (ISV), spare parts, and related logistics and test support services. (14) Set-aside Status: Not set aside. See paragraph 12 above (15) National Stock Number (NSN): TBD (16) Specification: The ISV provides enhanced tactical mobility for an Infantry Brigade Combat Team (IBCT) to move quickly around the battlefield, including the ability to execute medium distance insertion operations, providing commanders greater freedom of movement and freedom of action. Key IBCT requirements include the ability to carry nine Soldiers with equipment and supplies to sustain combat operations over operationally relevant terrain and the ability to be sling load air transportable. A full Production Specification will be released with the RFP. (17) Quantity, including any options for additional quantities: 1,070 ISV (18) Destination information: FOB Origin (19) Delivery schedule: To be determined at the Delivery/Task Order level (20) Duration of the contract period: Base of three years with five option years. (21) The Government will utilize Source Selection procedures pursuant to FAR 12, FAR Subpart 15.3, the Department of Defense Source Selection Guide and the Army Supplement. (22) The anticipated award date: June 2020 (23) As previously stated, competition will be limited to those contractors who successfully complete the Other Transaction Authority (OTA) task assignment under W15QKN-17-9-1025 and deliver an ISV that is deemed a successful prototype pursuant to 10 USC § 2371b. (24) The RFP will be provided directly to the vendors that successfully completed the OTA task assignment under W15QKN-17-9-1025 and delivered an ISV that is deemed a success prototype pursuant to 10 USC § 2371b.
