ACC-WRN intends to award a one year contract for the inspection and repair of nine (9) Laundry Advanced Systems (LADS). The LADS is a mobile laundry system capable of washing and drying 400lbs of laundry per hour. The Army currently has LADS deployed throughout the world. The LADS consists of two washing/drying drums, a thermal-fluid heater, and a water recovery system mounted on a 40-foot International Standards Organization (ISO) M871A3 trailer. A 30-kilowatt tactical generator, mounted over the trailer's rear axle provides power to operate LADS. The LADS has been in the field since 1999. The LADS were manufactured in two models Model B and Model D. This contract will be for the repair of nine LADS (all Model D) units which are currently in non-mission-capable status. The Government intends to negotiate and award sole source to Guild Associates, CAGE: 4X630.
