The Army Contracting Command (ACC) Warren, MI is seeking to identify sources that can fulfill a 2 week Firm Fixed Fee (FFP) service contract to provide GAU 19 Operator Training in Saudi Arabia to the Saudi Air National Guard. Training overview: a. Installation onto aircraft b. Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services c. Operation d. Troubleshooting Anticipate a two week/8 hr per day course for 5 English speaking students. Contractor will provide operator training in: •· - GAU-19 Gatling Gun Characteristics, capabilities and features review •· - Parts Identification - Identification of the main components of the system •· - Technical discussion - discuss the GAU-19 system components, technical specifications and measurements. •· -Safe loading and unloading procedures - explain and demonstrate safe handling procedures. •· -Clearing and Handling - demonstrate the proper methods of ensuring a safe weapon. •· - Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) •· -Weapon disassembly - step-by-step instruction for operator level disassembly. •· -Detailed Cleaning Techniques - individual cleaning of each component. •· - Inspection of components - operator inspection of components to ensure proper functional performance. •· - Lubrication - type, quantity, and location of lubricant. •· -Reassembly - complete operator reassembly of the GAU 19 weapon. •· - Function check - checks to be performed by the operator. •· - Headspace and timing - explain and demonstrate proper headspace and timing. •· -Sight adjustment - correct sight picture and sight adjustment. •· -Operational Procedure - description of the operating principal of the components of the weapon. •· - Identification and clearing of stoppages - types of malfunctions, cause and immediate action drills. •· -Troubleshooting - identification of the problem and the methods of repair. -Mounts- discuss the use and assembly of aircraft mounting systems as available. •· -Ammunition and Optics - We will discuss types of ammunition, optical and night vision equipment as well as various available accessories -Changing barrels -how and when to properly replace the barrel - Malfunction drills -Simulated night loads and weapon setup -Performance under stress -
