Army Contracting Command - Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) intends to issue a sole source Request for Proposal to Carolina Growler, Inc., Star, North Carolina to modify the existing Light Engineer Utility Trailer Type II (LEUT II) production contract under W56HZV-19-D-0013 to incorporate new Statement of Work (SOW) for Total Package Fielding (TPF) to support fielding requirements through Fiscal Year 25 (FY25). The RFP (Contract W56HZV-19-D-0013, P00016) will be sole sourced in accordance with the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)2 “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.” CGI is the only responsible source that can provide the TPF to the Government. Carolina Growler, Inc. is the only known qualified source for this procurement. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 336212. The inspection/acceptance and FOB points are Origin. Although it is the Government's intent to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Carolina Growler, Inc. (Cage Code 550C1), all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. This is a pre-solicitation notice, otherwise known as synopsis. Contractors should not call the buyer(s) or procuring contracting officer seeking a copy of the solicitation (or other data) as none will be available. No hard copies of the solicitation will be issued.
