Sources Sought Notice JOINT ASSAULT BRIDGE (JAB) Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) Field Service Representative (FSR) Support and Repair Parts Support. The Government plans to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP)/Cost-Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) modification to the current FFP eight year JAB production Contract W56HZV- 16-C-0028 with DRS SUSTAINMENT SYSTEMS, INC. (DRS) for OCONUS FSR Support and Repair Parts Support for both CONUS and OCONUS locations. The XM1074 JAB program is an Army and United States Marine Corps (USMC) Joint Interest Program that will replace the legacy M48/M60 tank-based Armored Vehicle Launched Bridge (AVLB) and Wolverine systems. The JAB system is a fully-tracked armored combat engineer vehicle specifically designed to provide Armored Brigade Combat Teams assault bridging capabilities to support maneuver elements. Using the M1A1 Abrams chassis as the basis for the system, the JAB provides equivalent crew protection and vehicle survivability, while having the necessary speed and cross country mobility to keep pace with maneuver forces. The JAB launches and recovers the Army's existing hydraulically-actuated AVLB Military Load Class (MLC) 85 (reclassified as MLC 95) scissor bridge. The existing contract provides FSR support services; however, only for locations within the Continental United States (CONUS). The required OCONUS FSR support shall include on-call maintenance, repair, test, and troubleshooting support for the JAB unique components. The existing contract also provides parts support, but only for routine service intervals during the first two years of service and System Support Packages (SSP) for each Government test and training activity. PdM Bridging also has a need to acquire repair parts support for both CONUS and OCONUS locations. Disclaimer: This is a sources sought notice and is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation of offers. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of the information contained in this posting or information received as a result of this posting. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which the agency will consider. The point of contact for this action is Mr. Brian Brass. Email: Brian.K.Brass.civ@mail.mil.
