A newly constructed U.S Government building, Building 228 at Detroit Arsenal, Michigan requires the procurement of a new 30 Ton crane assembly, ASCE rails, electrification runway and electrical termination into the existing disconnect switch, that must meet the stringent security requirements of Building 228. Strict adherence to Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) Number 705 (effective 26 MAY 2010), most current version of IC Tech Spec for ICD/ICS 705 and Construction Security Plan, shall be followed. The Crane for building 228 must meet security and mission requirements. The incorporation of Microphones, Recordable devices, Media, USB, GPS, Wireless and/or Bluetooth technology on this Crane is strictly prohibited. LED lighting on the bottom of the crane require prior approval before install. The Crane controller must be hard wired to the Crane (wireless pendants are prohibited). To the fullest extent possible all material used to create the crane assembly shall be made in the USA or be pre-approved for use by the SSM of Building 228. The crane manufacturer companies must be U.S. owned and operated. Prime contractor and any and all subordinate companies must be U.S. owned and operated. All installers must be U.S. Citizens. All companies and personnel working on this contract will be vetted by the SSM prior at contract award and prior to start of work. The security requirements for this Crane installation include (but limited to) the handling of CUI documentation, drawings/designs as well as the vetting requirements of all companies and employees involved in this contract will be outlined in Para 3.2 of the SOW Security Requirements shall be adhered too.
