This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W56HZV-23-R-0100 and is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-02. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 336992 with a small business size standard of 1500 employees. This solicitation is being issued under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This solicitation is restricted to Kidde Technologies Inc. (Cage 05BU0). The resultant Contract will procure an estimated quantity of 673 Control Electronics Panels (CEP) Units to support the Family of Light Armored Vehicles. This solicitation will result in a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) requirements contract with three 12 month ordering periods. FOB Destination shall be Detroit Arsenal, MI 48397-5000 Provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Products and Commercial Services, FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Products and Commercial Services, FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Products and Commercial Services, and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Products and Commercial Services, applies to this acquisition.
