The attached request for proposal (RFP) is a total small business set-aside and will result in a firm-fixed-price (FFP) contract for the supply identified below: REQUIREMENT NOUN: System Control Module NSN: 4240-01-333-3919 PART NO.: 5-19-9118 PRODUCTION QUANTITY: 28 EA OPTION QUANTITY: Up to 100% UNIT OF ISSUE: Each (EA) FIRST ARTICLE TEST REPORT: Required PRODUCTION LOT TESTING: Required SURVEILLANCE CRITICALITY DESIGNATOR: B 2. There is a technical data package (TDP) associated with this procurement. The TDP is distribution code "C", which limits access to U.S. Government agencies and its contractors. Please refer to Section C for additional information. 3. Military preservation, packing and marking are required and shall be accomplished in accordance with Section D, all applicable requirements of MIL-STD-2073-1 and special packaging instruction (SPI) P5-19-9118. 4. PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE / SYNOPSIS This is notice that the U.S. Army Contracting Command – Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) intends to solicit for the following requirement: NOUN: System Control Module NSN: 4240-01-333-3919 PART NO.: 5-19-9118 UNIT OF ISSUE: Each (EA) PRODUCTION QUANTITY: 19 EA OPTION QUANTITY: Up to 100% END ITEM: M93 Gas Particulate Filter The forthcoming request for proposal (RFP), W56HZV-23-R-0050, will be a total small business set-aside and is anticipated to result in a firm-fixed-price contract. This is a pre-solicitation notice/synopsis only. It is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice. The content of any future RFP shall take precedence over all information contained herein. There is an export controlled technical data package (TDP) associated with this requirement. The TDP is distribution code "C", which limits access to U.S. Government agencies and their contractors. The forthcoming RFP will contain instructions on how to access the technical data. TDP access will not be granted prior to RFP issuance. Therefore, it is incumbent upon any interested party to obtain the solicitation, and any amendments, from SAM. Failure to obtain any amendments, and to respond to them prior to the date and time for receipt of offers, may render your proposal nonresponsive and result in its rejection.
