This notification is NOT a formal solicitation, and no award will be made as a direct result of this notification. Please see the attached Sources Sought for additional information. The purpose of this RFI is to determine potential market capabilities to provide the Drivers Ballistic Windshield Kit (DBWK). The DBWK will have the following performance specifications. It will consist of an armor plate assembly. It will have driver front, driver left, and driver right side ballistic glass shields. It will have a mounted camera. It shall have all components required for assembly. The glass shield will be integrated around the driver’s hatch. There shall be full movement of the Driver’s hatch without interference. The driver shall operate the Stryker with the hatch in open, closed and partially open conditions. Modular design allows for easy removal and replacement of kit. Forward glass panel shall be designed for quick release by driver. The kit shall consist of any brackets, guards, etc... required to mount the kit on the Stryker and allow it to be road tested.
