Under the authority of 10 United States Code 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1(a)(2), “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements”, the United States Army Contracting Command-Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) intends to award a Sole Source Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract to BAE Systems for the Bradley Fighting Vehicle A-Kit for the Vehicle Protection Systems Base Kit with Laser Warning Receiver on an other than full and open competition basis. This solicitation is intended to result in a single contract. The proposed contract is for supplies for which the Government intends to negotiate with only one source, BAE.
