Army Contracting Command-Detroit (ATTN: R&D Services Branch Lab & Tech Support CCTA-HDT-D) has a requirement to provide Corrosion and Coating Laboratory Testing Services to the U.S Army Futures Command Combat Capabilities Development Command Ground Vehicle Systems Center (AFC DEVCOM GVSC). The AFC DEVCOM GVSC desires to procure services for corrosion and coating engineering-related laboratory testing services, analysis, and evaluation in support of GVSC Materials Division - Environmental, Coatings and Corrosion team (M-ECC). Corrosion and Coating Services to be provided includes: 1. Chemical Agent Resistant Coating (CARC) application on test panels and specimens, 2. Material application on test panels and specimens, such as rust converters and corrosion inhibiting compounds (CICs), 3. Corrosion and Coatings testing including, but not limited to, cyclic corrosion testing, salt spray testing, adhesion testing, accelerated and outdoor weathering testing, color and gloss change, dry film thickness, chip resistance testing, and compatibility testing, and 4. Production of test results in a digital report format. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. The projected period of performance is 60 months, which includes a base year and four option years.
