This is a solicitation notice The U.S. Army Contracting Command –Detroit Arsenal, Warren, Michigan, intends to issue a sole-source procurement from General Dynamics Land Systems. The item being procured is restricted to General Dynamics Land Systems. A Technical Data Package (TDP) is not available. The part is available from General Dynamics Land Systems. This procurement is for: ITEM: Sling, Beam Type NSN: 3940-20-006-8323 P/N: 10685755-011 Only the NSN or manufacture's part number is acceptable. No substitutions or replacement is allowed. In accordance with 10 USC 2304 (f)(1)(C), any bids or proposals received in response to publication of a required synopsis notice will be considered. This procurement will result in an 18 month Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Requirements contract The Government intends to procure this hardware on an other than full and open competition basis under the authority of 41 United States Code (U.S.C.) 1901 as authorized and implemented by FAR 13.501(a) "Sole source (including brand name) acquisitions." The Government intends to use FAR 12 and FAR 13.5 for this acquisition.
