The Government intends to issue a Firm-Fixed Price sole source contract award with one base year and one option year providing remanufacturing (REMAN) of the Traverse Bearing Assembly. The Traverse Bearing Assembly is used on all versions of the Bradley Fighting Vehicle Systems (BFVS), the Opposing Forces Surrogate Vehicle (OSV) and the Main Battle Tank (MBT) Army General Supply System. The Traverse Bearing Assembly is used to mount the turret assembly to the hull and allows the turrett assembly to be rotated in a 360 degree arc. The remanufacture of the Traverse Bearing Assembly will include unpacking, cleaning, disassembly, inspection, diagnosis, removal and replacement of material/component parts, reassembly, cosmetic work (when necessary to prevent further deterioration), calibration, final testing/inspection, and packing for shipment. The necessary personnel, labor, tools, parts, material, equipment, services, supervision and facilities shall be provided to return Government-owned Bearing, Ball Annular, Part Number 12292058, NSN 3110-01-095-8792 from condition code “F” to condition code “A”. Only new components will be used to remanufacture this item and the required services will be in accordance with (IAW) the scope of work in the contract. The remanufacture will be completed in accordance with Traverse Bearing Assembly source controlled Drawing 12292058. A Government Technical Data Package will not be provided. Total contract performance period is twelve (12) months base year and twelve (12) months option year. A quantity of 66 for the base year and a quantity of 66 for the option year will be required to be delivered during each performance period of the contract. The Government intends to negotiate and award a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract.
