Army Contracting Command - Detroit Arsenal hereby issues a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Request for Quotations (RFQ) for the provision of Qty. 67 "Remover Tool, Bearing and Bushing", NSN 5120-01-201-7871, with an option exercisable in whole or part for up to 67 additional units. Also known as a "Bearing Puller Tool", NSN 5120-01-201-7871 is a special-purpose tool used to extract bearings from the Abrams Tank Final Drive Assembly. The item consists of machined aluminum and steel components, and is built to the specifications of an existing Technical Data Package (TDP), attached to this Announcement. This TDP contains restrictive markings (Distribution Statement D) and export control restrictions apply. Please ensure your company is registered with the DLA Joint Certification Program (JCP) prior to requesting TDP access via the selection in the Attachments/Links portion of this announcement. This requirement is 100% set-aside for Small Businesses under NAICS 332216, Saw Blade and Hand Tool Manufacturing, which currently has a size standard of 750 employees. This RFQ has been extended and now closes on Friday, 5 March 2021, at 4:30 PM Eastern. Please refer to the Solicitation RFQ document for submission instructions. As stated in Amendment 0001, offerors shall ensure quotes are valid for a minimum of 90 days following the Solicitation response deadline. Amendment 0002 increased the required quantity from 24ea to 67ea, with no effect to the solicitation response deadline. Amendment 0003 states a specific deviation from the Technical Data Package is allowed, and extends the solicitation response deadline.
