The Army Contracting Command–Detroit Arsenal plans to exercise a six-month option to extend services on an existing contract with BAE Systems Land & Armaments, L.P. of Sterling Heights, MI. The period of performance for this extension is from 7 July 2026 through 6 January 2027. The contract provides critical System Technical Support, Post-Production System Support, and Sustainment System Technical Support for the AMPV and M113 Families of Vehicles. The STS/PPSS/SSTS program requires performance of extensive vehicle support tasks that include Program Management, Logistics, Engineering, Configuration Management, and Product Assurance and Test. No other firm except BAE is capable of meeting the Army’s needs and no other source possesses the technical data and documentation needed to fully support the vehicles within the required timeframe.
