This action is to support the police force at the Joint Systems Manufacturing Center (JSMC) – Lima in Lima, OH for the procurement of (4) in-car camera systems to include product installation and waranty for their fleet of police cars that will record the officer’s actions on patrols and traffic stops. The equipment must include microphones and body packs to record audio, all required mounting equipment and cabling required to install the camera in the police car, and software to view, archive, and retrieve video recordings. The recordings must be viewable in the car or manually downloadable onto external hard drives. The system must also be able to capture metadata such as officer name, GPS coordinates, date and time for each recording. This will allow the police to search recordings as part of investigations. The data from these recordings are used for evidentiary purposes and can be subpoenaed by court.
