This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Army Contracting Command – Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) intends to award a contract to Oshkosh Defense LLC (CAGE 75Q65) to obtain 1,081 each of the Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles (FMTV) Improved Underbody Armor Kits (UAKs) Number 57K9511. For the proposed contract action, the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only once source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(B). All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, for consideration by ACC-DTA. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the Government.
