This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. US Army Contracting Command-Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) intends to issue a five-year Fixed Price Incentive Firm Target (FPIF) Production Contract for Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle (AMPV) systems. The solicitation will include a base production requirement of 60 AMPVs, with options for up to a total of 197 vehicles per year, plus associated Authorized Stockage List (ASL) Spares and Special Tools and Test Equipment (STTE). With all options exercised, the Government may procure up to 985 vehicles and associated ASL Spares and STTE under this contract. This requirement is sole source to BAE SYSTEMS LAND & ARMAMENTS PO BOX 15512 YORK, PA 17405-1512 but may include subcontracting opportunities with BAE. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation for consideration by ACC-DTA. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the Government. The solicitation will be posted on or about 02 April 2021.
