The U.S. Army Contracting Command – Detroit Arsenal, Acquisition Services Division, intends to solicit and award a sole source, firm fixed-price purchase order for a quantity of one (1) each Open Air Plasma Surface Treatment System, Model Number AF502. The anticipated award will be made to Surfx Technologies, 2631 Manhattan Beach Boulevard, Redondo Beach, CA 90278 CAGE Code: 1TDT9. Surfx Technologies is the only known qualified source to satisfy this requirement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). The NAICS for this acquisition is 333999 and the PSC is 3695. Delivery, installation, and training shall be provided at 6501 E. 11 Mile Road, Building 200E, Detroit Arsenal, MI 48397. The following system will be provided: Model Number AF502, Atomflo 500 argon plasma controller with 2” linear source (Gen 3) and coolant control module (CCM) with installation and training. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, the Government will consider all responses received before the closing date of this notice.
