The United States Army, Army Contracting Command-Warren (ACC-WRN) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) in support of the Tank and Automotive Research, Development, and Engineering Center (TARDEC), Vehicle Electronics and Architecture (VEA). The intent of this request is to obtain information on available display hardware without an internal processor ("dumb" display), for potential use on the Stryker DVH) A1 vehicle platform. A general architecture diagram is provided in Figure 1, and a target SMD diagram is provided in Figure 2 of Attachment A to this RFI. The USB touchscreen and USB bezel may be provided to the Keyboard, Video, Mouse (KVM) through a single interface. The desired information in response to this RFI is a description of the product detailing its interfaces, performance specifications, environmental performance, design architecture, size, weight, power, cooling, cost, lead time for initial units, and lead time / delivery schedule for production units in quantities up to 300 units per year. When preparing responses, please refer to the more comprehensive list of response information below. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS. This RFI is issued for planning and informational purposes only. It does not constitute a request for proposal and it creates no obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services now or in the future. No entitlement to Government payment of direct or indirect costs or charges will arise as a result of contractor submission of responses to this RFI or from the Government's use of such information. The Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any contractor's input resulting from this RFI. No contract will be awarded from this RFI, and data submitted in response to this RFI will not be returned. Information is being requested in order to improve potential future solicitation requirements, in the event a solicitation is later issued. Please note that information provided shall be limited to unclassified information.
