This is a non-personal services contract to provide preventative maintenance and repair of a specially customized TEM00 Continuum Powerlite 9010 Nd:YAG laser. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform maintenance and repair of the existing TEM00 Continuum Powerlite 9010 Nd:YAG laser, serial number 3527, as defined in this Performance Work Statement except for those items specified as government furnished property and services. Repair parts shall be priced at a 20% discount per Continuum's "Silver" laser maintenance policy. In addition, the Contractor shall supply the Consumable Items listed herein on an annual basis. The contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract. Continuum built and specially customized a Powerlite Precision 9010 Nd:YAG laser with a high beam quality TEM00 spatial mode for TARDEC and has been maintaining it since the late 1990s. This contract is for continued maintenance support of that laser, Continuum serial number 3527. The objective of this contract is to maintain and repair TARDEC's Powerlite 9010 Nd:YAG laser, serial number 3527 in good operating condition within its custom specifications and to prevent or minimize laser down time. In addition, the Contractor shall supply certain Consumable Items listed herein on an annual basis.
