Offeror shall submit a copy of this Combined Synopsis Solicitation with their bid and respond to these clauses and provisions accordingly. Basis for award- The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals before the closing date of this solicitation. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government intends to negotiate and award the contract directly to HDT Expeditionary Systems, (Cage# OWJE1). In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), all responsible source may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the Contracting Officer. The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Warren, Michigan intends to issue a solicitation for the following: Quantity: Minimum Quantity 20 and Maximum Quantity 113 for NSN 4120-01-617-1273 and Minimum Quantity 36 and Maximum Quantity 500 for NSN 4120-01-617-1282 Contract Type: Firm-Fixed Price; Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract Period of Performance: 5 One Year Ordering Periods Competitive Status: Government intends a Sole Source Procurement First Article Test (FAT) is not required IUID is required Quotation Instructions and Content.
