The government intends to award one (1) contract for the award of a Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) based follow-on production contract under the authority of United States Code (USC) 2371b(f) for the production of the Common Robotic System - Heavy (CRS-H), which will provide Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Soldiers enhanced capabilities to detect, identify, access, render safe, exploit, and achieve final disposition of heavy Explosive Ordnance (EO) to include Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), Vehicle Borne IEDs (VBIEDs), and Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMDs) at safe standoff. The proposed contract(s) will be five-year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), and non-commercial contract for up to 248 CRS-H systems.
