Disclaimer: This is a sources sought notice and is NOT a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation of offers. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of the information contained in this posting or information received as a result of this posting. Army Contracting Command - Warren (ACC-WRN) is issuing this sources sought, on behalf of the requiring activity, Product Manager Bridging (PdM), as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support the following requirement: The Government plans to award a Firm-Fixed-Price contract to Mabey Bridge Limited (Mabey) for delivery of 80 Tracked / 110 Wheeled (80T/110W) Military Load Class (MLC) Line of Communication Bridge (LOCB) 40 meter (m) Dry Gap system components. The Government has current inventory of Mabey 80T/110W MLC LOCB dry gap system components. Mabey is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the components current in Army inventory. The planned award will fulfill missing components to provide for a complete LOCB dry gap system to meet the Government's need. PdM Bridging is seeking information to assess the availability of sources that possess the capabilities to provide parts as specified above. If your organization has the potential capacity to perform these contract services, please provide the following information that the agency will consider: 1) A positive statement of your interest as a prime contractor; 2) Organization name, address, email address, Web site address, telephone number, and size and type of ownership for the organization; 3) A statement identifying your certified small business designation (if any); 4) Evidence of prior successful work similar in scope and magnitude to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, points of contact and telephone numbers; 5) Tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability; and 6) If significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated in order to deliver technical capability, organizations should address the administrative and management structure of such arrangements.
