The US Army, Product Directorate, Army Watercraft Systems (PD AWS) is seeking industry input for suitable replacements of the Logistics Support Vessel (LSV) and Landing Craft Utility (LCU) 2000 with non-developmental vessels that do not require further technology development and which meet these vessels' current capabilities as described in Section II below. No contract shall be awarded from this announcement. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation nor does it imply or guarantee one will be issued in the future. Also, it is not a request seeking contractors interested in being placed on a solicitation mailing list. Response to this questionnaire is voluntary and no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to the market survey and any follow-on information requests. Not responding to this Request for Information (RFI) does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any are issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website: https://www.fbo.gov. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor these sites for additional information pertaining to this requirement.
