SOURCES SOUGHT REQUEST FOR INFORMATION This is a Sources Sought Request for Information (RFI) Notice as a means of conducting market research to identify responsible sources with capability of providing sustainment support hardware and services for eleven (11) armored Counter-Improvised Explosive Device (CIED) Interrogation vehicles. Results of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The following sustainment support hardware and services are being sought: 3D Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) Qty 11 each 3D GPR Spare Parts Qty 11 Lots Translated Manuals 11 Lots Field Service Representative Support for armored CIED vehicles Field Service Representative Support for GPRs New Equipment Training for CIED vehicles New Equipment Training for GPRs Self Defense Remotely Operate Weapon System (SDROW) 11 each SDROW Spare Parts, 11 Lots Thermal Camera, 11 each Thermal Camera Spare Parts, 11 Lots Integration Support, 1 month per vehicle (total 11 months) Storage for containerized Armored Counter-Improvised Explosive Device (CIED) Interrogation vehicles in South Africa If your company has the capability of meeting these requirements, please provide the following information: Part I - General Business Name Business CAGE Code Business Size - Large or Small Recommended Brand and Model/Nameplate Solution Final assembly location Country(ies) in which the components are built Existing and/or past USG contracts in which the aforementioned sustainment support hardware and services for armored CIED interrogation vehicles was provided/serviced (list the contract number and agency; provide POC contact information) Expected delivery lead-time (days after receipt of award) for the hardware Part II –Sustainment Specific What are the Ground Penetrating Radar specifications? What are the thermal camera specifications? What are the Self Defense Remotely Operated Weapon System’s specifications? When was GPR integrated previously? Please include supportive documentation indicating GPR has been previously integrated. Please describe the scope of work (relevant experience) for GPR FSR support. Please describe the scope of work (relevant experience) for armored CIED vehicle FSR support. Please describe the scope of work (relevant experience) for New Equipment Training of a major weapon system. Please describe the scope of work (relevant experience) for any of the above sustainment support hardware and services being sought. Please provide supportive documentation in form of brochures, specification sheets, photos and/or dimensional drawings as part of your response to the RFI. Mark any proprietary or otherwise protected documents accordingly. Your input is voluntary and no compensation will be made for your participation in this survey. No contract will be awarded from this announcement. This is not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation, nor is it a request seeking Participants to be placed on a solicitation mailing list. Responses to this RFI are voluntary and no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this RFI and any follow-on information requests. Data submitted in response to this RFI will not be returned and will be used for program planning purposes.
