US Army Contracting Command, Army Contracting Command – Detroit Arsenal, Detroit Arsenal, MI, intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) modification to the Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) contract for a Fielding System Support Package (SSP) for the AMPV LRIP vehicles. The Fielding SSP includes Authorized Stockage List (ASL), Special Tools and Test Equipment (STTE), and Spares Acquisition Integrated with Production (SAIP). BAE Systems is the original equipment manufacturer of the Armored Multi-purpose Vehicle (AMPV), the vehicle end item to which these spare parts apply. This requirement is sole source to BAE SYSTEMS LAND & ARMAMENTS PO BOX 15512 YORK, PA 17405-1512 but may include subcontracting opportunities with BAE. The solicitation will be posted on or about 10APR2020. There are no small business set-asides planned for this solicitation. Additionally, this is a new requirement; therefore, there is no incumbent information to provide. This is a pre-solicitation notice, otherwise known as a synopsis. The Program Management Office Mounted Armored Vehicles PMO MAV is now seeking feedback to determine the level of interest among qualified contractors in providing an AMPV Fielding System Support Package as described in the attachments. The Market Survey Questionnaire will provide the Government a better understanding of the capabilities of industry/companies as potential sources. It will identify the contractors who may possess the required technical expertise, facilities resources, and demonstrated experience. The Government intends to review all responses submitted by Industry. Responses are due no later than 6PM EST on 10 February 2020.
