This is a synopsis for Ceremony Support services to commemorate the 80th Annual D-Day Ceremony in at the American Cemetery in Normandy, France prepared in accordance with (IAW) FAR 5.207. USAREUR-AF G3 has commercial Ceremony Support services that requires the contractor to provide (1) Staging, Platforms, and Seating; (2) Turf Protection; (3) Media Support; (4) Ceremonial Wreaths; (5) Artificial Roadways and Walkways; (5) Site Support; (6) Tents; (7) Power Distribution; and (8) Ablution Support Services for the an event with an anticipated attendance of over 12,000 people in support of the 80th Annual D-Day Celebration. The Ceremony will take place at the Normandy American Cemetery from May 30th, 2024, to June 7th, 2024. Draft performance work statements (PWS) are attached to this synopsis to provide industry and early look of the Government’s requirement. Vendors are encouraged to review the draft PWSs and submit any questions using the “Industry Questions to Government” (attachment 3) to the Government. The Government anticipates offering a Site Visit in Normandy, France. Further details, date & time, will be specified in the solicitation. This synopsis is not Invitation for Bid (IFB), Request for Proposal (RFP), or a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a promise to issue an IFB, RFP, or RFQ in the future. The US Government is in no way liable to pay for or reimburse any companies or entities that respond to this announcement. Any costs incurred by interested companies in response to this announcement will NOT be reimbursed. No proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in your response. The Government reserves the right to use any non-proprietary technical information in any resultant solicitation(s).
