THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) / SOURCES SOUGHT(SS) ONLY – This is an update to the source sought to include the floor plan for building 203 on Sembach in Germany to provide addtional inforamtion based on early exchanges with industry. The Government is seeking industry expertise on an anticipated requirement for a protective distribution system (PDS) for building 203 on Sembach in Germany. The Government anticipates it needs hardened/alarmed fiber cables of about 200’ for the basement level and first floor that will connect to a local processor unit with a minimum 2 relay output enclosed in an IP66/NEMA4X enclosure that can fit in an existing server room. The cable would need to run from the server room in a new conduit to at least 3 different locations within the building. One of those location would require 1 outlet and the other 2 locations would need a minimum of 6 outlets and a maximum of 12 outlets and each of the outlets would need a LC connector or equivalent. The cables would need to have pre-installed termination board at the end of the sensor cable in accordance with NIST SP 800-39. All vendors must be DOD Risk Management Framework (RMF) accredited or certified and all hardware provide must be trade agreement act (TAA) compliant. The purpose of this RFI/ SS is to engage with industry early to answer questions, have open discussion, and identify potential vendors based on the anticipated requirements for Protective Distribution System (PDS) on Sembach in Germany. Feedback, questions, and clarifications from the industry is highly encourage and may be used in the planning and developing a future solicitation/requirement.
