SYNOPSES OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTIONS This announcement constitutes a pre-solicitation synopsis of a proposed contract action pursuant to FAR 5.204. PLANNED SOLICITATION The 409th Contracting Support Brigade (CSB), Kaiserslautern, Germany, intends to issue a solicitation for the services listed below. It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued during the month of July 2020 under the solicitation number, W564KV-20-R-0014. Proposals will be due no less than 30 days from the solicitation issue date. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to System for Award Management at www.beta.sam.gov. The solicitation documents will only be made available in electronic format, downloadable from SAM. No CD-ROMs or hardcopy documents will be distributed. Prospective Offerors are advised, to be eligible for award of the contract resulting from the solicitation requires an active SAM registration, to include satisfactory completion of the applicable online representation & certifications. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES The purpose of this acquisition is to provide Domestic Appliance Repair services for the Army in Europe Army Family Housing and Unaccompanied Personnel Housing (AFH/UPH). These services consist of on-call repairs and management of Repair Parts and Common Standard Item Parts used in the support thereof. This requirement is designed to ensure that the Domestic Appliances are repaired in accordance with established commercial practices. DRAFT SOLICITATION A draft solicitation has been included with this notice for review and comment by industry. Please send questions and comments to the below identified POC’s no later than 01 July 2020. PRE-SOLICITATION CONFERENCE A pre-solicitation conference has been scheduled for 17 June at 1400 CET. The pre-solicitation conference will be held virtually using Microsoft Teams. You do not need to download software, have any special equipment or create a login and password to use Microsoft Teams. In order to participate in the pre-solicitation conference, please send your name and email address to the below POC’s by 16 June and the Government will send you a invite to join the conference. The pre-solicitation conference will last approximately one-hour which includes an question and answer session after the Government presentation. The Government’s presentation will contain the following: Firm Fixed Price explanation How to invoice on a Firm Fixed Price contract Explanation of submission and evaluation documents for the subsequent solicitation Not responding to the draft solicitation or participating in the pre-solicitation conference does not preclude participation in any future RFP or RFQ. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The conference on 17 June 2020 will be recorded and questions and answers will be posted along with the presentation used.
