UPDATE - 18 SEPTEMBER 2020 Solicitation Amendment 0001 - The purpose of this Amendment is to change the "Delivery Schedule" from 50 days ADC to 120 days ADC. It will be the Offeror's responsibility to ensure that the Offeror's quote relects all of the revisions in this or any future Amendments and that the specifications for notification are met. However, failure to provide acknowledgement may not be considered as a disqualifying factor in the acceptance of the Offeror's quote. ********************************************************************************************* The 409th CSB has a requirement for "MA-10UD Altimeters" based on the mandatory specifications set-forth in the attached solicitation and the supporting documents. The quantity for this requirement is 75 each and a separate CLIN has been provided for shipping. This is an "all or none" requirement and all of the items are expected to be shipped and delivered in 1 lot. Multiple shipments for this requirement will not be considered as acceptable. It will be the responsibility of the offeror to ensure that “All” costs associated with the purchase and delivery of the altimeters is included in the Offerors quote. This is a commercial item requirement that will result in the award of a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. A copy of the “Memorandum for Record – Limiting Competition at or below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (redacted)” has been provided with the solicitation. In order for an offeror to be considered for award, the offeror must have a valid and active Cage Code, be registered in SAM and not be on the excluded parties list. In order for a Quote to be considered as compliant, the offeror must ensure that all of the requirements of the “Quote Checklist” located on Page 4 of the solicitation (W564KV-20-Q-0116) are met and that all FAR provisions provided therein are reviewed and filled out properly. Failure to submit a quote in accordance with the aforementioned instruction may result in dismissal of the quote with no further consideration. The quantity for this requirement shall be 75 each to include (as a separate line item) all costs associated with the complete shipment and delivery of the requested items. MA-10UD (Salient Characteristics / Description) The MA-10UD is designed for high altitude (40,000 FEET MSL) military operations. On the compressed scale model, the single revolution eliminates altitude confusion while maintaining the traditional Altimaster dial face below 8000'. Since the scale is controlled by the embedded software, the user can specify the scale design when placing an order, for example the MA-10UD can be supplied with a dial face that is identical to MA2-30. For training purposes, the instrument has a simple zero function. For operational use the DZ altitude and barometric pressure may be programmed in-flight. The MA-10UD is designed to display the correct AGL altitude above the DZ. Each unit can be programmed from the device itself, or with the MA-10 UD Transmitter (sold separately). The unit is based on a stepper motor design and is extremely robust; dropping the instrument will not damage the mechanism. The embedded software is updateable.
